The Holy Father Pope Francis has appointed Fr. Daisuke Narui, SVD as the new bishop of Niigata Diocese in Japan. The announcement was remarkably made on May 31, 2020 on the feast of Pentecost.
Fr Daisuke was until his appointment the Vice-President of AEFJN and the JPIC coordinator for his Congregation. The Executive and the entire network of AEFJN appreciate his years of dedicated service and wish to congratulate Fr. Daisuke for this new appointment assuring him of storming the heavens with our prayers on his behalf.
