AEFJN has been in the vanguard of the online justice pilgrimage anchored by RECOWA ( Regional Episcopal Conference of West Africa). The online justice pilgrimage which was launched on October 27 has external advocacy strategy towards the Inter-governmental working group on Business & Human Right, the COP26, accompaniment of the CGLTE (Convergence Globale des lutes pour la Terre et L’eau) caravan, and the EU-Africa summit envisaged in February 2022. It has equally an internal advocacy strategy of mobilizing the Church in Africa to be more involved in social justice actions. The President of RECOWA, Archbishop Ignatius Kaigama delivered a very powerful speech during the ceremony.
