During the next three months, a new person is going to join the Secretariat. His name is Alfredo Marhuenda. He holds a Degree in Law and a Master’s degree in International Relations from the Diplomatic School in Madrid. He also attended doctorate courses on International Law in the University of Valencia and a course on Catholic Social Teaching. He has been in charge of the international cooperation programme in Caritas Valencia. There, he drived the management of international cooperation projects in Asia, Latin America and Africa as well as responding to major international emergencies. Therefore, he has had the opportunity to closely work with many missionary religious. He has also broad experience on raising awareness and advocacy projects on fair trade, forgotten conflicts, food sovereignty and the international development agenda.
