Beginning from 2015, the UN IGWG (Inter-Governmental Working Group) on Business and Human Rights facilitates annual sessions on the process of having a UN Binding Treaty to regulate the operations of Trans-National Corporations (TNCs). The treaty is very crucial for African states in view of the damaging operations of TNCs in the continent.
However, the participation of the African state actors has not been impressive and it is crucial that the Church in Africa uses its enviable position to reverse this ugly trend. The toolkit before you is assembled to enable the Africa religious take the lead in the process of reversing the trend.
